Getting the candle with olive oil on the carpet?

I recently bought a pine scented "Olive Oil "Candle Virginia Candle Company. It is made of olive oil, and is somehow supposed to burn cleaner than ordinary wax candles. When it burns, remains firm as a regular candle (in a glass jar). Anyway, last night, someone knocked over spilled wax everywhere. It is dark green, pine scented wax around a square of 2 feet x 2 feet from my beige carpet. Clean like when it was hot. My husband pulled the carpet shampooer, you just spread it around us more. I went out with coffee table GooGone. Now I can not just walk down the carpet and path table. Ideas? Is this something that really ice?

Getting old news paper and paper towels. Then, a large cloth. Now, we iron without steam. You'll save several layers of newspaper on the ground. Then the cloth or towel.
