My e-machine worked one day and not another. What could be the problem?
Ok. So I was on my computer and everything worked well. Al day I get up, tries to break into my computer and the green, bright light around my power button not light. My computer does not turn, and yet my work unit and even the little light under the power button is orange-ish. So I played with him a bit and my computer are not. My instructor maintained a 'no signal' message (I have when my computer is not on but my monitor is) and left alone. Meanwhile, however, my computer is still the same buzz if it continues to work and may not all simply not get my monitor or something. So I left my computer sit for a while and now when I try to mess with it, is completely death. ISH orange light is dead and my drive will not open more. It is no longer making any noise. Any suggestions on what could it be?
More than likely, the motherboard (the circuit board that plugs everything on your PC) is toast. Although the "killed" (not starting the PC), a motherboard may still be able to get the CD-DVD and lights when it is a simple electrical circuit. The Hum, which means fans in the case designed to keep cool at all. Because nothing else in your computer is on, you can now hear. Also, open the side of your case if you know how. Watch the motherboard. If you see any light on it (usually red, orange or green), which would exclude the power that the board continues to gain power. If everything is dark, the power may be dead.
